A young man, Rod, lives a boring, uneventful life. One day, his friend, Bruce, convinces him to do something different. Bruce suggests that they go to a hypnotist show. Rod is hesitant, but inevitably decides to go to the show. That night, the Mysterious Magloro (the hypnotist) shows off his impressive skills to the audience. He uses his power of hypnosis to make a man act like a chicken. He also uses his phenomenal cosmic power to make a man reveal an embarrassing truth about himself. Rod isn't impressed, but his friends have a wonderful time. Magloro asks for another volunteer. Rod's friend, Elizabeth, convinces Rod to volunteer. Rod walks onto the stage and sits down. Magloro uses his power to put Rod in a trance. When Rod wakes up, the crowd sits silently staring at him. Magloro angrily proclaims that the show is over and quickly walks away. The audience leaves. Rod sits on the stage with no idea what had just occurred. Rod asks his friends, but they seem too frightened to answer. To make matters worse, when Rod arrives at his dorm room, two mysterious masked men are waiting for him with a gun. They demand to know what happened at the hypnotist show. Rod swears he has no idea what he said or did at the show while he was hypnotized. Rod must figure out what happened at the hypnotist show and why it has effected his life in such a life threatening way.
