In the fading days of the western frontier a group of outlaws journeys through the desert in search of another score. As isolation and futility turn the posse upon itself, the leader works to prevent an all out blood bath. Forced to make a difficult decision, he reflects on the violent path he has chosen. In these final moments of contemplation he is haunted by a promise to a dying friend– a promise that pits him against the code of the West he has sworn to live by.
